I gotta say, the value for my money at Lucky was incredible! The room was spacious and squeaky clean, and the location was unbeatable - just a 3-minute walk to the cathedral and surrounded by plenty of food stores. And let me tell you, the owner was a gem! Super friendly and supportive, she even packed me a breakfast to go without me asking. Such amazing service!

The location of the hostel was great, situated in a quiet alley near St Joseph Church, with plenty of cheap local eats nearby. The breakfast provided was satisfying, with freshly baked baguettes, fruit, cucumber, and tomatoes. the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, allowing me to leave my bag there after check-out and even providing me with the opportunity to make instant noodles using their resources.
The showers could get quite busy in the evenings, as there was only one shower/bathroom shared by six people. The hostel lacked a communal area where guests could relax and socialize, which made it difficult to meet new people or simply unwind after a long day of exploring.

The dorm was clean and comfortable with private van and locker. Friendly and helpful staff, especially Bé who spoke English. Great breakfast options and assistance with bookings. Provided a phone for day use.
All was good.

My stay at Lucky Hostel in Hanoi was a pleasant one. The location was ideal, with the hostel situated in a quiet alley near St. Joseph Church. I enjoyed exploring the surrounding area, which was filled with cheap local eats and restaurants. The hostel provided a delicious breakfast with freshly baked baguettes, fruits, cucumber, and tomatoes. In addition, the bed in my room was comfortable and spacious. I had a great experience at Lucky Hostel.
It's worth noting that the hostel does not have a communal area where guests can relax and socialize. Additionally, the lack of an elevator can be challenging for guests with large luggage.

The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always with a smile on their faces. They were very helpful in assisting with luggage and even helped arrange a Halong Bay tour for us at a good price. The location of the hostel is fantastic, just a 3-minute walk to the cathedral and surrounded by plenty of food stores. The rooms were spacious and clean, exceeding our expectations for the price we paid. The owner was also very friendly and went above and beyond by providing a breakfast to go when we had an early morning trip. the service at this hostel was top-notch.
Felt cared for, no complaints whatsoever.

I loved how the staff were available 24/7, because who doesn't need assistance at 3am? And the delicious à la carte breakfast was the highlight of my day, definitely worth waking up early for!
Oh, and let's not forget the charming smell coming from the sewerage in the bathroom. delightful!

The location of this hostel is fantastic, right in the heart of the Old Town Quarter with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff here is also very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any inquiries. The dorm rooms are comfortable with sufficient storage space for belongings. the breakfast provided is delicious and a great way to start the day.
The shared bathroom in some rooms can be problematic as it tends to get flooded after showering.
